About Us
As you can see we are a community-oriented paper that prints articles about the community
and its residents. We encourage the residents and businesses of our community to submit advertising
and human-interest stories to be published. The VOICE of the Valley is a free mailer that depends on
merchants to support our paper with advertising to keep it a 'hometown" paper and to keep the paper
free for all it residents.
We hope you will take the time to look over our paper and rates and give us a call.
The VOICE is a community-oriented newspaper, privately owned and operated in the communities of
Maple Valley, Black Diamond, Hobart, Lake Sawyer, Ravensdale, Selleck and other outlying areas.
We have been in business for more than 39 years. Our circulation is over 17,300 and is distributed
by direct mail to every mailing address in the above communities every week.
We accept all community related news stories from schools, churches, human interest, sports and more.
We strive to make each paper a 'Hometown Newspaper' and would like the community to participate in
supporting their hometown paper.
We offer display ads, inserts/flyers, classified section, service directory section, and church
directory. We also like to include editorials, births, obituaries, sports, senior citizen news,
school news, school lunch menus, recipes, police news and more in every edition.
Display advertising deadline is 5 PM on Wednesdays.
We will gladly design the ad for you at no extra charge or accept your camera-ready material.
