The King County Sheriff’s Office has released surveillance photos from the recent
convenience store robberies. Please help local law enforcement identify the individuals
involved in these robberies so we can put a stop to this crime spree. Call 9-1-1

According to John Urquhart, King County Sheriff’s Office PIO, “Bothell and Tukwila
robberies have at least tentatively been linked to the Maple Valley, Covington,
and Federal Way robberies.”

What To Do If Robbed or Confronted By Someone With A Weapon
- Stay calm and comply with the orders given.
- If given the opportunity quietly signal for help, ie; press panic button, dial
9-1-1 or flag down a passerby.
- Try to get a good look at the robber(s) so you can provide police the best description
possible.
- Keep talking, but follow instructions from the person who has the weapon. Let
them know that you are cooperating.
- Do not try to grab the robber’s weapon.
- Do not be hero and risk harm to yourself or others.
- Do not verbally or physically challenge the robber(s).
- Make no sudden movements. If you need to move tell the person with the weapon
what your intentions are first.
- Tell the robber about anything that might surprise them, such as someone who is
expected to arrive soon or if someone is in the back room.
- When the robber is gone, lock your business immediately.
- Note the robber’s direction of travel and attempt to get a description of the
vehicle ONLY if you can do so without exposing yourself to harm.
- Ask any witnesses to stay until police arrive.
- Call the police and follow the dispatchers’ instructions.
- Do not touch anything the robber(s) may have touched.
- Write down a description of the robber, vehicle and weapon as soon as you are
able.
