Tuesday, January 23 – Unanimously approved an ordinance adopting the June 2012 Metro
Transit service changes – reducing or eliminating performing fixed-route bus service
and reinvesting resources into priorities established within the King County Metro
Transit Strategic Plan 2011-2021 and Service Guidelines (Ordinance 2011-0495).
Adopted a motion relating to the 2012 reorganization of the Council. Members unanimously
approved the appointment of Councilmember Larry Gossett as Chair of the Council
and Councilmember Jane Hague as Vice Chair (Motion 2012-0050).
