At the November 28th Maple Valley City Council Meeting, the Tahoma Cross Country
Team was recognized for their tremendous success this year at the state championship
track meet held in Pasco on November 5th where the girl's team took first place
and the boy's team took eighth place. During the presentation of the Mayoral Proclamation,
Mayor Noel Gerken declared November 29, 2011 to be Tahoma Bears Cross Country Team
Day in Maple Valley. The teams were coached by Gary Conner, Jeff Brady, Jodi Hofflbuhr
and Anne Hobson.
