Neighbors living in the 14000 block area of 244th Ave. SE heard some glass breaking approximated 2 p.m. on Monday, January 9, at a neighbor’s house and went over to investigate. They confronted an unknown male who stated he was just visiting a friend, before fleeing the scene on foot.

Suspicious about his story, neighbors contacted authorities and deputies were dispatched to the residence where they determined a burglary had taken place. A perimeter was set and K9 along with Guardian One were called in for a search. The male was located hiding in a tree east of the residence. He was booked into King County Jail for investigation of Residential Burglary.

An unknown female also at the scene departed in a vehicle that was found abandoned on the 20100 block of 261st Pl. SE. Once again, neighbors called in about a vehicle being abandoned in their area. Deputies recovered the vehicle; however, the female is still at large.
