The City of Maple Valley Public Works Department is not able to provide collection
of residential or business storm debris. However, there are some local options where
residents can dispose of storm debris.
Residents subscribing to curbside yard/food waste can put storm debris into their
yard carts. Material cannot be larger than 4 inches in diameter or 4 feet in length;
weight varies by container size and hauler. Waste Management will be accepting a
double load of yard waste even if you were not missed on your last collection day.
Allied Waste will accept a double load of yard/food debris on your next regularly
scheduled collection day only if you were missed. Roll-off containers (large containers
dropped off by the hauler) can be delivered for storm debris where there are larger
volumes or where homeowners’ associations (HOAs) want to provide a neighborhood
point for debris drop-off. Container fees and disposal fees apply depending on size.
Waste Management customer can call 1-800-592-9995; Allied Waste customers can call
206-682-9735 for fees and container delivery.
