image Hebert Research, Inc. conducted a City of Maple Valley Community Survey on November 30, 2010. In that survey, respondents were asked what source of information they were most likely to utilize to find information about what is happening in Maple Valley. “City newspapers” was the number one response, at a staggering 88.9%. The next to be chosen was the City Newsletter, followed by the Quarterly Parks and Recreation Guide. The respondents were also asked which local newspaper they primarily read, and according to the study, “the overwhelming majority of respondents reported that the newspaper they primarily read is the VOICE of the Valley with 79.3%.” The Maple Valley Reporter came in second at just 43.8%.
