Saying thanks in her own special way to all those who supported her in her bid for
Maple Valley City Council, candidate Karen Crowe took to the intersection of Wax
Rd./Maple Valley Hwy. on Tuesday, November 15, with her husband Michael in order
to wave a thank you sign. Talking about her campaign, Crowe said, “It was a great
opportunity to get out and talk to community members as well as hear what they had
to say.” Along with the thanks, she wanted to let everyone know not to count her
out, as she will still be in the community raising awareness and “helping to make
this community be everything we want it to be.” Crowe stated that she will be sticking
to her campaign motto – Seeking solutions and bringing community together.
