The Lake Wilderness Golf & Country Club will hold the annual Holiday Lights Food
Drive to benefit the Maple Valley Food Bank on December 10th from 6 to 9 p.m. Homeowners,
along with Santa will be at the entrance off Witte Road to gather much needed food
and money for those less fortunate. So, come and drop your donation before enjoying
the marvelous holiday light show on over 150 homes.
Holiday meal items needed include green beans, corn, yams, stuffing, fruit cocktail,
pumpkin mix, jello, pudding, cranberry sauce, sugar, olives, pickles, gravy mix.
“Standard” needed items are tomato sauce, tuna, soup, fruit, vegetables, peanut
butter, jelly, chili, stew, tuna helper, mac and cheese, pasta, cereal, oatmeal,
pancake mix, rice, beans, shampoo, toilet paper, toothpaste, soap, deodorant, diapers,
and baby formula. Monetary donations are always welcome for the purchase of wholesale
