Fall Color Tours, Classes, & On-site Plant Sale
The Rhododendron Species Botanical Garden is holding its weeklong Fall Foliage Festival
& Plant Sale from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sat. October 15 to Saturday 22, 2011, at 2525
S. 336th St., Federal Way, on the Weyerhaeuser headquarters campus. Regular admission
is waived for this special weeklong celebration of fall, where visitors can enjoy
the dazzling display of rich autumn colors.
The festival features classes, Fall Color Tours and excellent deals on outstanding
species rhododendrons, companion plants and ferns.
Visitors will also enjoy the new 5,000 square-foot Rutherford Conservatory showcases
tropical vireya rhododendrons as well as tropical companion plants, all set amid
towering boulders, a waterfall, bridge and stream.
