Peace Lutheran Church, Covington, is again hosting a Drive-Through Living Nativity, Friday Dec 10th and Saturday, Dec 11th, 5:30-8:30 pm.
This event was dreamt up in 2020 as a response to COVID and the perceived need for some hope in people’s lives. The event was a huge success, with nearly 500 cars and 1500 visitors to “Bethlehem”.
Given the enthusiastic response, Peace is again hosting this event which will feature a chance to drive through Bethlehem 2000 years ago; 54 persons are involved in making this event work, ranging from costumers, gift assemblers, and sound technicians; traffic directors and greeters; and 35 actors!
Visitors will be able to meet Roman soldiers and kings; Innkeepers, shepherds, and even live lambs; Angels and Wisemen; Mary and Joseph, and Baby Jesus.
The cost of the event is free!
